It's been almost a year since my last journal and I decided its time for another brief update of my life and related events.
Over the past year and a half, I dated someone and lived with them, which was honestly a terrible fucking idea. I made a lot of mistakes and I suffered for them. I was miserable, I felt like I couldnt hang out with friends or enjoy my hobbies without being ridiculed and needled that 'I spend too much time doing this or that and not enough time with me.' Etc. There were highs with the lows but considering my mental state, the lows were extreme and hit me very hard. 

I moved to California in September and while I am better off, I miss my family immensely. I dont have much free time still and I have zero friends here but I know its a healthier environment compared to where I was previously. 

My hopes are to return to college and maybe take more writing classes and some drawing on the side, I feel like I should explore some more hobby ideas. Maybe try my hand at an instrument.

Hand Drawn Artwork
These are traditional hand-drawn pieces that can be mailed to you at no additional charge, otherwise you will be provided with a photo image to save to your computer. Computer scans of the artwork are in high resolution so there is no loss of quality to the piece. 

Payment is expected upfront via Paypal once your commission information has been received and accepted. It will take anywhere from a week to a month to receive the finished product, this includes the time it may take to mail out the physical piece if desired.

After another considerable gap in my journal entries, I've come with another update.
Following the new year, I continued with spring courses in college which are now coming to a close. Last day of classes for my cycle is May 9th. It's been incredibly stressful this past month alone and I'm puttering out on energy as the weeks pass. But I think I'll make it through to the end.
In regards to my announcement of moving this year, that date was also changed due to college and other reasons but none the less, the official date of my move to California is June 2nd. Once college is out in May, I'll begin to downsize my possessions considerably, as I can only bring about two suitcases worth of things. Or really one, as one will be needed for my clothing.
End of May will see me ending my internet service here, since it is under my name and I wont be paying for it while I live out of state.

There is also a very small inkling of starting a Youtube channel in the Summer but that's not a guarantee. I might just mess around with video making, see how well I catch onto the process.

Merry (belated) Christmas and Happy New Year to all my friends and followers!
2017 was crazy for me, full of highs and lows and I'm glad the tail end of the year was relatively good. I attended my first semester of college and truly enjoyed the experience, so I'll be continuing my schooling towards a Bachelor's degree. I havent yet decided what major though.
I've also changed my dA username, after being TrippingDownStairs for near ten years, I've swapped to QueenLumina in reflection of my main OC, Unicorn, whom also goes by Lumina.
In other news, come 2018, I will be moving to California! I started talking to my Dad again (after 8 years of separation) and he offered me a place with him again. I have been dying to go back to Cali since I left in 2009 and now I finally have the opportunity. There is no set date yet for my departure but I plan on leaving end of Feb/beginning of March at the latest. 

So here's to the end of 2017, cheers! And now onto 2018, which I hope will be prosperous for not only myself but all my friends and family.
